Dog Food
Dog owners are overwhelmed by the dazzling variety of dog food on the market, and how to choose good dog food. The method is actually very simple, just take a look at the ingredients!
(1) High-quality source of meat protein, but it must be explained why the meat is grown, such as only animal meat (ANIMAL MEAT/MEAL) or waterfowl meat (POULTRYMEAT/MEAL). Do not explain why the meat of the animal cannot be delivered (for example, chicken is the correct choice).
(2) The top two in terms of status should contain one all-meat source.
(3) Unprocessed whole grains, vegetables and other food materials, because unprocessed food contains more and better quality enzymes and enzymes (the principle of processing refers to processing).
High-quality dog foodshould contain the minimum amount of:
(1 ) food residues (FOOD FRAGMENTS), such as brewer's rice, wheat bran (WHEAT BRAN), etc. These grain residues (can also be said to be grain by-products) are many due to their low cost and low price. Cat/dog food manufacturers will include at least one kind in the food to reduce costs. Be careful when buying and avoid using grain by-products that contain a variety of these.
(2) Meat by-products. All meat by-products are not high-quality protein if they are used as the main source of protein in dog food.
High-quality dog food must not contain:
(1) A general term for fat or protein sources, such as animal fats. These do not explain the animal fats (should explain such as chicken fat, beef tallow, etc.).
(2) Artificial preservatives (BHA, BHT, ETHOXYQUIN).
(3) Artificial pigments.
(4) SWEETENERS. like syrup(CORN SYRUP), sucrose (SUCROSE), etc., used to reduce the taste of poor quality food.
(5) PROPYLENE GLYCOL, a toxic substance, adds to the food and can maintain the "moist" feeling of the food.
