2. Living customs
Freckled pond turtles are aquatic turtles that live in streams, lakes and pools. It has a lively nature and is not afraid of people. Omnivorous, they like to eat fish, shrimp, lean meat, and plant-based feeds. Eat normally during normal exercise when the temperature is above 18 degrees Celsius. At the fifteenth degree, the amount of exercise is significantly reduced, and the state of hibernation is gradually entered.
Artificial breeding: The breeding pond for spotted pond turtles should be built into a "water and land two" type. The water level is best for sunken turtles. Hamilton's turtles should be strong, lively, and tractable. As long as the conditions are right, they will quickly eat on their own initiative. They should be fed once a day, mainly fish, shrimp, and lean meat, and the water should be kept cool. When the temperature reaches 15 degrees, it should be moved indoors for the winter. The room temperature should be maintained at 10 to 14 degrees. Keep this range to allow it to hibernate. Freckle Pond is not cold-resistant and cannot be kept below 9 degrees for a long time. If the physical strength is too much below 9 degrees, it will float and start to die.
3. Growth
Female turtles can keep male turtle sperm in their bodies for up to five years, so they can mate once without the need to mate again within a few years. They lay fertilized eggs, a trait that makes Hamilton's turtles less vulnerable to the threat of extinction.
 4. Dispersion
