Introduction to the variety of Silky Terrier
Silky Terrier (definite introduction)

The Australian Silky Terrier has a cheerful and lively character and looks similar to a Yorkshire Terrier (definitely introduced), but is larger than it. The dog originated in the 19th century. Before being settled in Europe, the blue and tan Australian Plush Dog had been successfully settled in the United States and Canada. They have a strong sense of scope and will scream when they see a stranger.

They do not have dense down, but can protect themselves from cold weather. The Australian Downy Dog bred in the late 19th century was probably the result of breeding Australian hounds and Yorkshire terriers, which were basically ornamental dogs, or perhaps Skye dogs.

Although the Silky Terrier is small, it is very healthy, has a strong ability to catch and kill small rodents, and has a slightly rebellious character.
